To add RSS feeds to your Canvas page, please follow the directions found here. You will also need to create an RSS link for all of the categories that you would like to subscribe to. Please take a look at the table below, and make note of the different categories we have.
RSS Feed Categories

| cs | Opportunities relevant to students studying computer sciences. |
| earth-sciences | Opportunities relevant to students studying earth sciences. |
| engineering | Opportunities relevant to students studying any field of engineering. |
| math | Opportunities relevant to students studying math. |
| physical-sciences | Opportunities relevant to students studying physical sciences (chemistry, physics). |
| stem | Opportunities relevant to students majoring in any STEM field. This is inclusive of all the separate fields of study above. |
| campus | Campus announcements that are relevant to students. This may include campus events, or other important news. |
| career | Career Services center workshop announcements that are relevant to all STEM students. This includes workshops |
| stem-mas | STEM-MAS program announcements that are relevant to students. This includes application opening date, workshops, and speakers. |
Creating your specialized RSS Feed URL
After you have chosen topics of interest, you will then create a URL following the general format below
https://rss.tramdang.com/category/category1,category2,category3,etc/feed/where each category will be replaced by the slug found in the table.
Example
Let’s say that I’m interested in subscribing to announcements relevant to engineering, physical sciences, the STEM program, and campus events. My RSS feed URL will be the following:
https://rss.tramdang.com/category/engineering,physical-sciences,stem-program,campus-annoucements/feedNote
It is not recommended that you subscribe to each category as a separate RSS feed. Individual posts are often cross-listed across multiple categories. By subscribing to each category as a separate RSS feed, you will have duplicate posts on your Canvas Announcements page.
